OVERVIEW

In today’s industry, there is little room for inefficiencies but there is plenty of room for improvement and this is no different with our boards of directors and management. At the 2024 Directors Roundtable, we’ll take a close look at what effective board leadership looks like with all the challenges of today’s environment, and focus on critical topics that are facing Boards. With the help of our seasoned panelists that include exceptional chairmen, CEOs, directors and subject matter experts, we’ll hear first-hand about their experiences and opportunities.

Mark Schniepp, Principal, California Economic Forecast, Santa Barbara 

Dr. Schniepp is currently Director of the California Economic Forecast in Santa Barbara which prepares forecasts and commentary on the regional economies of California. He makes frequent presentations across the state providing insight and commentary to business leaders, non-profit organizations, and investor groups. Dr. Schniepp was also the Chief Economist for the State of California (1999-2003) and the Director of the UCSB Economic Forecast Project from 1985 to 2000.
