Letter Supporting Michelle Bowman for Supervision Role at Fed

CCBN, ICBA and affiliated banking associations urged the Trump administration to nominate Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman for a full term as vice chair for supervision at the Fed.

In a joint letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, ICBA and the 44 state groups said Bowman—who has served as a fifth-generation community banker and Kansas state bank commissioner—understands the unique role community banks can play in fostering growth and prosperity for local businesses and communities across America.
